The Hispanic American Professional & Business Women’s Association (HAPBWA), was founded in 1997 thanks to the vision of a group of Hispanic professionals and businesswomen who immigrated to Central Florida from around the world. Faced with a work and business environment that was insensitive to diversity, they dreamed of an organization that would unite forces, share experiences, and create strategies to open up greater opportunities for professional growth.
